Back to school...

Well, we've just past that millstone that seems to mark the end of summer and beginning of fall for everyone (even those that don’t have kids). That’s right, the beginning of school is upon us and most teens are probably tired of everyone asking them if they are ready for it. Let’s be honest, the correct answer to this question is always no. 

But since this day has occurred, we at the Teen Department wanted to welcome you back to your academic life with some awesome programs to take your mind of things. This week we have four events for you to choose from:

• Anime Night – Tuesday, August 20 from 5:30-7:30
• The audience chooses what we watch and makes candy sushi to eat!
• Book Group – Wednesday, August 21 from 4:30-5:30
• Before seeing the movie, join the teen department to discuss City of Bones by Cassandra Clare!
• Food Fear Factor – Thursday, August 22 from 5:30-7:00
• Come and Compete (or just watch) with fellow teens to see who has the stomach to eat the teen librarians’ various concoctions!
• Open Gaming – Friday, August 23 from 4:00-5:30
• Come and play awesome video games on the Wii and Xbox 360 or board games with fellow teens!
